Text of the meditation
Be watchful, that no thought of self creeps in again and stains you. Think of yourself as abolished. In all your doing think of the good of others and of the world, and not of pleasure or reward for yourself. You are no longer separate and divided from others; you are one with all.
No longer strive against others for yourself, but sympathise with all. Regard no one as your enemy, for you are the friend of all. Be at peace with all. Pour out compassion on all living things, and let boundless charity adorn your words and deeds. Such is the glad way of Truth; such is the doing that is according to the Eternal.
Filled with joy is the right-doer; they act from principles that do not change and pass away. They are one with the Eternal, and have passed beyond unrest. The peace of the righteous person is perfect; it is not disturbed by change and impermanence. Freed from passion, they are even-minded and calm, and do not sorrow; they see things as they are, and are no longer confused.
Open your eyes to the Eternal Light.
