Text of the meditation
Whoever wants to find Blessedness should find themselves. People rush from creed to creed and find unrest; they travel in many lands and discover disappointment; they build themselves beautiful mansions, plant pleasant gardens, and reap boredom and discomfort. Not until a person falls back on the Truth within themselves do they find rest and satisfaction; not until they build the inward Mansion of Faultless Conduct do they find the endless and incorruptible Joy, and having found that, they will carry it into everything they do and own.
When a person can no longer bear the weight of their many sins, let them turn to the Christ, whose throne is at the centre of their own heart, and they will become light-hearted, joining the glad company of the Immortals. A person's spiritual Heart is the Heart of the universe.
